Perth Golf Network – What is it and what are the benefits?

• The Perth Golf Network is a new initiative designed to provide access to a Golf Australia handicap (using Golflink) and professionally run competitions for all Perth golfers.
• Open to men and women it provides a stepping stone for golfers to move from casual to club golf with the benefit of  low membership fees and a pay as you go structure.
• You pay a yearly fee and then pay green fees on the competition day.
• You get all the benefits of playing in a private club with the added choice of eleven days in the week of competition at various venues.
• As the membership base grows even more venues will be added.
• A PGN co-ordinator will be onsite at all competition days to look after members before rounds.
• Once a month PGN will also run a special event series giving members the chance to play at W.A’s most exclusive courses including Lake Karrinyup, Royal Fremantle, Mt Lawley and the W.A golf club.
• Members will receive a membership pack valued at around $250.
• The Perth Golf Network uses the internet as a main source of information for members. All results and handicap updates will be posted on the evening of each event. We also use the site to let members know about club news, Golf Australia competitions, upcoming events, changes in playing dates and course information. The homepage contains a facebook feed which is updated regularly with new information.
